“Helen, You’re the Best!”

Happy Memorial Day to all!!
Today, we have a special post over at the Twine It up! with Trendy Twine blog. 
The Trendy Gals along with past designers have created wonderful & beautiful cards for Helen from HTB Creations just to let her know how much she is truly appreciated and loved by us!! You really are Helen!!!

For my card, I used Lemoncraft's Violet Silence paper collection and a variety of dies which I had in my crafty stash.

The adorable (girl) digital image was sent to me by a crafty friend and I thought it went perfect with the beautiful paper collection that I used on this card. I also wanted to add a touch of pink since it's Helen's favorite color, so I wrapped some Totally Pink Trendy Twine around the top portion of the card and added a pretty pink bow too. 

 Next, I stamped the "You are AWESOME!" sentiment which went perfect especially for this special post on to a stitched oval die cut.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Sunday and welcome to my NEW blog....Migdalia's Crafts.

I wanted to join in on several fun challenges that are going on this week so I am currently working on cards. For my 1st card, I made a Birthday card which I had realized that I have none in my card stash. :(

Also birthday cards are one of my favorite cards to make as well as shaker cards too. I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches # 386. For my card base I used Recollections Pool-Riffic paper pad, stitched rectangles dies from GMD and the stitched basic edges from MFT. 

To color the unicorn I used Tombow's ABT markers and for some sparkle I used a Zig wink of stella pen. I used the Unicorns & Glitter stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I fuzzy cut the unicorn and adhered it to the stitched die cut clouds. I used the Rainbows & Clouds die set from Lil' Inker Designs. Next I stamped the adorable magical birthday sentiment which is from the same JB set.

For my super cute card, I used a watercolor digital freebie which I found on Pinterest and a variety of dies. To color the adorable unicorn I used Spectrum Noir Markers. I used the Unicorns & Glitter stamp set from Jaded Blossom. Super cute, right?
