Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing my 2nd card that I created for the sketch challenge over at
Freshly Made Sketches, who is celebrating their 500th challenge this week.
 CONGRATS!

This is what I created using this sketch...
I'm not sure if more than one card was allowed but I enjoyed this sketch so much that I continued to make more cards for different occasions.

For my Christmas card, I used the 6x6 Holiday Cheer paper pad, Country Christmas Wreath stamp & die set and the Christmas Sweater Sequin Mix from Honey Bee Stamps. For the gold layer, I used Core'dinations - 12 x 12 Cardstock - Glitter Silk - Kings Crown from Scrapbook.comI stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment on to red cardstock with versamark and then I heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. Next, I used glossy accent to adhered some of the Christmas Sweater Sequin Mix for extra sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by.

Freshly Made Sketches #500 - Thinking of you!

Happy Saturday!
I hope that you all have a wonderful & safe weekend.
Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating their 500th challenge this week and I'm happy to be able to join them. CONGRATS!

This is what I created using this sketch...

For my A2 card I used the pretty papers from the "Turn The Page" paper pad by Pink Paislee. I wanted my papers to coordinate with the gold die cut butterfly that was gifted to me by my crafty friend, Maggie @magcards. Thank you Maggie! I decided to go with a "Thinking of You!" sentiment since I will be sending this card to a friend who recently loss a loved one. The lovely stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV "Mini Messages" stamp set.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #13 - Holiday Cheer

Happy Friday!!
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!
For today I am sharing my 2nd {BYSHCdesign team card using this month's sketch #13 over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group

I'm enjoying this month's sketch because it's one of my favorite cards to make...as well as fun fold & shaker cards. For my papers, I used Craft Smart's Say Freeze paper pad. I followed the exact measurements (I think I did ..lol) but I also added layers of red & gold cardstock.

I used a Spellbinders Stitched Square die to die cut the image. The adorable snowmen image is from the same paper pad. I used foam dots to adhere the image to each square die cut for a little dimension.

The sentiment is from the Jolly Jingles stamp set from Verve Stamps (no longer in business), which I stamped on to a stitched pennants die cut from Verve Stamps as well. Next, I wrapped a red sheer ribbon around the 4x2 rectangular shape and adhered a pretty bow.

Crafting Christmas All Year - August 2021

Happy Saturday!!!
It's the 1st Saturday of the month.... so it's time for me to share what I created for the August Crafting Christmas All Year 2021It is a collaboration with Lisa HappycrafterPaulette Fullard & TashasCraftCorner over on YouTube. It is a once a month collaboration, first Saturday of the month but you can make a project and join in anytime. You can post it on IG, Facebook, YT or on your blog just add (#ccay2021).  Remember, you can make ANYTHING as long as it is a Christmas theme.

I made Christmas Embellishments!
For my embellishments, I altered a Felt Garland Kit from Creatology that I had purchased at Michaels about 2 years ago. I was lucky to have found it on clearance and was able to find 2 of them. Yay... me!! The kit came with candy canes which were attached to the mugs but I decided to cut them out. I wanted my cocoa mugs to be simple and maybe add a little bling to them. The kit also came with felt eyes so that I can add it to the top of the mugs (whip cream) but I decided not to add them as well.

I stamped the sentiment on to white cardstock with versamark ink and then I heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Christmas Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom. Then I used my Sizzix Big Shot and the Tag Frame Die Layers (smallest) from My Creative Time to die cut the tag.

I used a hot glue gun to adhere the tag on the red bow (the red ribbon was included in the kit) and a piece of gold beaded chain. Next, I used the hot glue gun to adhere the bow with tag onto the mug handle and added some bling for some extra sparkle.

Here is a photo of the Felt Garland Kit
