Happy Saturday to all!!
I hope that you & your family are all safe & well.
I recently started crafting again and I will be sharing some of my finished projects very soon.
I am also practicing on my sewing as well. Yay me!!
For today's project I am sharing what I created for this month's (August) Crafting Christmas All Year 2020 ( #ccay2020). It is a collaboration with Lisa Happycrafter & Paulette Fullard over on YT. It is a once a month collaboration, last Saturday of the month but you can make a project and join in anytime. You can post it on IG, Facebook, YT or on your blog just add ( #ccay2020). Remember, you can make ANYTHING as long as it is a Christmas theme.
So for this month's (August) project, I made Gift Card Holders!
For my SUPER adorable gift card holders, I used Lori Whitlock's Present Vertical Gift Card Holder cutting file and one of the darling images from the Winnie Christmas Wishes collection from Polkadoodles. I uploaded the image on to my Silhouette and used the print/cut features. I am a fan of Polkadoodles and I love all of their adorable collections.
For my papers, I used Craft Smart's Holiday Glitz Glitter and the Cute & Cozy Christmas paper pads. To make the rosettes I used the Sizzix (Tim Holtz) Thinlits rosette die set. It is one of my favorite dies to use. For the sparkly snowflake, I used the Snow Burst die set from Fun Stampers Journey. Also, one of my favorite dies to use. Next, I stamped the Joy sentiment from the Christmas Wishes stamp set from Jaded Blossom onto a die cut scallop square.
I adhered silver tinsel on to my project and added a heart rhinestone (both from the DT).
Did you see the little pom pom on her hat?
So cute!!
Here is a look of the inside of the gift card holder...
